The Flexographic Technical Assocation (FTA) is sponsoring the flexographic printing industry’s largest awards competition, the Excellence in Flexography Awards. Since 1960, the annual awards program pays tribute to superior printing achievements in an industry where continuous gains in quality, consistency and process control have been seen.

Flexographic printers/converters, print buyers, suppliers, designers and students from around the world are invited to test their level of quality, achievement and technical prowess in the field of flexographic printing. Entries are broken down into eight categories: wide web, mid web, narrow web, combined corrugated, preprinted linerboard, envelope, self-promotion and student.

“We’re looking forward to another exciting awards competition,” says FTA awards committee chair, Paul Lancelle. “And, based on the feedback the committee received from our printer members, we’re pleased to report that the entry forms have been considerably simplified, making it easier than ever to get entries submitted.”

Gold, Silver, Bronze and Best of Show award winners in each category will be announced at the gala awards banquet during the Association’s 2015 Annual Forum in Nashville, TN on Sunday, May 3. Additionally, winning entries will also be placed on a red carpet display on the INFO*FLEX show floor, May 4-5, in Nashville in conjunction with the Annual Forum.

All entries must have been printed beween Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2014. All competitors must submit their entries by Friday, Jan. 9, 2015.
